Sam Hilliard

The latest on The Last Track:

The Last Track continues to get nice reviews including this one from Margot Kinberg. Sam told me to tell all his fans that he is working on the second Mike Brody book now!

Author Bio:
Born near the center of the United States, Sam Hilliard arrived during a very scary period of the 1970s. According to many noted historians, that included nearly every moment between 1970 and 1979. After being baptized five times, he spent his childhood changing residences every two years–or less–until high school. The moves were so frequent some speculated that his parents were in the witness protection program. During college he worked at a convenience store and once sold Kevin Smith cigarettes. He knew then exactly what kind of writer he wanted to be: The sort who never admitted he lived in New Jersey. Thanks to the JerseyShore, he has another reason.

For seven years Sam Hilliard served as the IT Director at an all-girls boarding school, where he learned world class drama first hand, as well as the proper role of martial arts in secondary education and the need for a very strong deadbolt on his office door.

Currently he lives at an undisclosed location in New Jersey with his wife and Cat Army. On long, dark nights, he works on the sequel to The Last Track, which despite allowing the manuscript sufficient breathing space, is not, in fact, writing itself. He works at Princeton University.
